As a computer technician myself, I think PCs' are the way to go. Mac is fast and pretty versatile, but in the end they are only one company, with a limited set of resources. There are a dozen or more manufacturers making PCs and parts for them, and this drives their respective specialized sub-sections of the industry to evolve. For this reason, if no other, PCs' and PC makers will always have an edge over Apple/Mac. Apple will continue making bread and butter from its' special high-tech gadgets like the iPhone. Macs are just their supplemental income.
