Frugal in the City is a social support group located in the Central Denver neighborhoods of Capital Hill / Cheesman Park / Wash Park / City Park / - the group is intended for men and women of all backgrounds who are interested in exploring ways to become more frugal, simple and resourceful in Denver. We will pool our resources and ideas, offer assistance, create a "borrow and barter" database and learn from one another. The platform will include at least one planned social event per month. We'll also explore hosting workshops and speakers - and do things such as have dinner parties / coupon & recipe exchanges, skills library offering books and information, and talk about ways to become more responsible, accountable, frugal and community-focused. We are a social group. We will also host an online discussion group.
